SOLD - Summer Roses Decoupaged Wine Table
This wine table has now sold.
This little wine table is the perfect shape and size so we decided to do something a bit daring to give it a new lease on life!
Decoupaged all over in a summer roses tissue, we love how summery and light it now is. Perfect for those who love something unique, or a bit of whimsy, a perfect piece to liven up any room without being domineering.
Technique:
We painted all over in Wild Tusk chalk paint to give our decoupage paper a nice white background. We painted with our round brush for full coverage.
We applied our tissue napkin using Matte lacquer and our flat brush. Using a whole napkin for the top and tearing pieces to create our own designs around the base and legs.
Once dry, we applied two more coats of Satin lacquer for a robust and durable finish with a slight sheen.
