We have given these classic Queen Anne style mahogany bedsides a complete makeover using premium chalk paint.
With a smooth finish in Stormy Creek, a wonderful deep blue grey, on the bottom and a faux marble effect using premium chalk paint on the top, we love how these have been given a contemporary twist.
Technique:
The bottoms painted in Stormy Creek chalk paint for full coverage using a roller. Once we were happy with the coverage we sealed them with Clear wax using a natural bristle brush.
The tops were completed using a faux marble paint technique. Using Beluga chalk paint as our base colour and with Clubhouse Grey chalk paint to create the marbled effect. We sealed the bedsides with Clear wax and buffed them for a low sheen.
We finished the handles with a touch of Forgotten Gold glide.
