Industrial Chic

This is a great industrial look

For this paint recipe, we walk you through how to create an industrial look using Urban Loft, a mid-toned grey, and Carbon Black coloured wax.

This technique works well with mid-toned to dark colours. We've used Urban Loft but all greys, dark greens and deep blues work well too.

What you will need:

• Urban Loft Chalk Paint
• Carbon Black Chalk Paint
• Clear Wax
• Round Paint Brush
• Wax Brush
• Forgotten Gold Glide

Technique:

1 - Paint in Urban Loft chalk paint using the round brush. Paint in large crosses to create subtle texture. Do two coats to achieve full coverage.

2 - Make a coloured wax using Carbon Black chalk paint and Clear wax, using a 1:1 ratio. Brush on with a wax brush and wipe off excess with a rag.

3 -  Detail the edges with Gold gilding wax, using either a finger or a detail brush.
