SOLD - Violet Hill Dresser

This solid mahogany Queen Ann-style dresser has been given a complete makeover with Old Chiffon chalk paint and the Violet Hill transfer.

We love how burgundy, pink, coral and mint really pop on the warm white background of Old Chiffon.

Technique:

Painted in Old Chiffon Velvet Luxe Chalk Paint for a smooth finish using the flat brush for the large sections and the detail brush for around the handles. We painted for full coverage.

We applied the extra-large Violet Hill transfer using the transfer tool.

We then applied clear wax over the transfer to seal it in, wiping off excess with a lint-free rag. We also added a touch of dark wax to the handles to help blend them in to the background of the transfer.
