Soft Neutrals

This is a lovely soft look that would be wonderful in a bedroom.

For this paint recipe, we walk you through how to create a soft neutral look using Moa, a slightly pink beige, detailed with a light brown Tahr coloured wax. The Bronzanite glide helps to bring out the soft pinks in this neutral finish.

This technique works well with all neutrals and beige tones, plus the light greys of Calicut and Dor Greige.

What you will need:

Technique:

1 - Paint in Moa chalk paint using the round brush. Paint in large crosses to create subtle texture. Do two coats to achieve full coverage.

2 - Make a coloured wax using Tahr chalk paint and Clear wax, using a 1:1 ratio. Brush on with a wax brush and wipe off excess with a rag.

3 -  Detail the edges with Bronzanite gilding wax, using either a finger or a detail brush.
