We have given this dresser a complete makeover with premium chalk paint, Efex mouldings and a large ReDesign with Prima rub-on transfer!
This dresser would be perfect as a make up table, or use it as a console in a living or dining room.
Technique:
First we applied the leg mouldings to the front two legs before letting them fully dry.
We then painted all over in Peony, our lightest cream, using our large round brush and brushing in all directions to create some subtle texture.
We then applied the Magnolia Grandiflora transfer to the front and sides.
We painted the wood parts of the handles in a base of Peony and then went over in Somerset Gold, our softer metallic gold. We used some of Somerset Gold to highlight the mouldings on the legs.
We then sealed the whole piece with Clear wax. And lastly finished with a touch of Dark wax on the mouldings, handles and around the edges of the dresser to give some depth.
