This hall table was painted by us for one of our customers, if you would like to commission us to paint a piece for you, please get in touch we'd love to help.

This hall table was a sentimental piece that had originally belonged to our customers mother who had painted it a few times over the years.

Our customer had recently moved into her new home and wanted it to work better with her furniture and wood floors. We'd previously painted a sideboard in Old Espresso that sits in the same room. We decided on the limited edition colour Midnight Brew as it has warm brown tones but is a deeper charcoal, perfect for the space and the photo frames that reside on the table top.

Technique:

We painted three thin coats of Midnight Brew velvet luxe using our angled detail brush and smooth roller to achieve as wonderfully smooth finish.

We then applied two top coats of Matte lacquer with our flat brush to deepend the colour and give added durability as this is in a family home.
