Commission - Imperial Linen with Beluga Wax Suite - Not For Sale
This bedroom suite was ready for a makeover to match the newly refurnished bedroom.
While it was the right size and shape, our customer wanted a refresh as the previous paint finish had been for a fair few years! With two bedsides, two tallboys, a dresser and a mirror, this was quite a big job that we were more than happy to undertake!
Painted in Imperial Linen, a lovely soft grey, and then finished with a Beluga coloured wax, we love how soft and romantic this suite has turned out!
Technique:
Painted in Imperial Linen chalk paint with a round brush to provide subtle texture. We painted two coats for full coverage.
Once fully dry, we applied a Beluga coloured wax in a 1:1 paint:clear wax ratio. This was brushed on in sections and wiped back using a clean lint free rag.
