Technique One: Smooth Finish with a Flat Brush
Choose your flat brush based on the size of your project, the most popular, all-round size is the 2-inch brush.
Load up your brush with paint and brush on in one direction and then lightly feather off.
Paint for full coverage. Once dry, lightly sand any imperfections and seal with wax.
Technique Two: Smooth Finish with a Roller
Cut in any edges, carved or raised details using the angled detail brush.
Load your roller with pain, using the top of the tray to remove any excess (you don't want it dripping with paint). Roll on in one direction, going over the areas where you cut in to create a smooth finish.
Do as many coats as needed for full coverage. Once dry, lightly sand any imperfections and seal with wax.
