This hall table has now been sold.

We love demi-lune occasional tables and we have given this small one a complete transformation with the Fleur de Lis ReDesign mould and Gretels Forest green chalk paint.

Technique:

First we applied the Fleur de Lis mouldings using the silicone mould by ReDesign and the Darwi air-dry clay.

We then painted the entire piece in two coats of Gretels Forest chalk paint, a wonderful deep green, with our pro-hybrid brush. We painted in all directions to create some texture.

We sealed with Carbon Black wax using our natural bristle brush and pulled back using the steel wool.

We then finished the piece with some gold gilding wax.
