Transform your furniture with our Metallic Alchemy Masterclass. In this hands-on furniture painting workshop, you’ll learn how to mix, layer, and apply The Artisan Company Metallic Alchemy range to create stunning finishes that turn ordinary pieces into extraordinary showstoppers.

Over 3 creative hours, you’ll discover:

  • Which chalk paint colours work best under metallics

  • How to mix and apply glazes

  • How to create a full metallic paint finish

  • Multiple decorative techniques to achieve elegant, professional results

This small group workshop (max 4 people) ensures plenty of one-on-one guidance. All brushes, chalk paint, and metallics are provided - plus morning tea! Simply bring a small, easy-to-carry piece of furniture (like a side table or stool) & an open mind.

Masterclass criteria: To get the most out of this fast-paced masterclass, participants should already be familiar with The Artisan Company chalk paint (ideally from our Blueprint for Decorative Finishes workshop).

Bring your own piece criteria: in order to complete your project within 3 hours, we require that you can easily carry your item with one arm. Great examples to bring are a small side table or stool.

Booking is easy, simply choose your preferred date and add to cart, make an online payment and receive confirmation of your booking. We will send a confirmation email closer to the time to remind you that you have a workshop booked with us. Alternatively, you can book in person in our store at 122 Upland Road in Auckland.  

Our masterclasses are run in groups of up to 4 for the optimum learning experience, book early to avoid disappointment! All workshops start at 10am.
