Masterclass: Chateau Methode - Wednesday 14 May
In this 'bring-your-own piece' masterclass we teach you how to create a softly, aged French style using The Artisan Company chalk paint, coloured waxes and metallics.
Gracefully aged, wrapped up in an overall soft and romantic finish, reminiscent of a grand old worldly piece, withstanding the test of time and building character over the years in a French Chateau. Except... we are going to create this in 3 hours! We call this "The Chateau Methode".
This is a creative 3-hour hands-on workshop where we teach you different techniques so you can master this elegant look.
All brushes, waxes, metallics and morning tea are provided, all you need to bring is yourselves, a small piece of furniture and an open mind!
Masterclass criteria: as our masterclasses are fast-paced, we require you to have an understanding of The Artisan Company chalk paint and coloured waxes, ideally from having attended our Blueprint for Decorative Finishes workshop.
Bring your own piece criteria: in order to complete your project within 3 hours, we require that you can easily carry your item with one arm. Great examples to bring are a chair, side table or bedside.
Booking is easy, simply choose your preferred date and add to cart, make an online payment and receive confirmation of your booking. We will send a confirmation email closer to the time to remind you that you have a workshop booked with us. Alternatively, you can book in person in our store at 122 Upland Road in Auckland.
Masterclasses are run in groups of 4 for the optimum learning experience, book early to avoid disappointment. All workshops start at 10am and run for approximately 3 hours.

Please note that all workshops run at alert levels Red and Orange will require everyone to wear a mask.
