This bedside has now sold.
This bedside is a great shape but has seen better days. We updated it with Old Chiffon chalk paint and the Wild Flowers rub on transfer.
We love how this has come out. With a subtle pink tint to the white of Old Chiffon, it reflects the vibrant Wild Flowers transfer beautifully. We updated the handles in the same colour so they now look fresh and new and blend into the finish.
Technique:
Painted all over in Old Chiffon chalk paint. We painted for full coverage using our round brush and angled detail brush to cut in. We painted with subtle texture to cover the existing patina. We used the angled brush to paint the handles.
Once fully dry, we applied the Wild Flowers transfer, cutting out the images we wanted to create our own design.
We then sealed all over with clear wax using our natural bristle brush and wiping the excess off with a lint-free rag.
