This wine table has now been sold.
This wine table has been given an impactful makeover using the Red & Gold Acorn napkin, a design from the V&A Museum in London.
Decoupaged all over for full impact and sealed with gloss lacquer, it now has a new lease of life. We can imagine this wine table in a formal living or dining room.
Technique:
Painted all over in Beluga chalk paint for full coverage using our round paint brush.
We applied our tissue napkin using Matte lacquer and our flat brush. Using a whole napkin for the top and tearing pieces to create our own designs around the base and legs.
Once dry, we applied two more coats of Gloss lacquer for a robust and durable finish with a lovely sheen.
For the feet we applied two coats of Indie Gold metallic made to full strength with our angled detail brush.
