This stunning writing bureau has been refinished by Wendy of Wai-O-Taiki Furniture Redesign. It can now be used as a writing bureau or reimagined as a drinks cabinet!
This solid mahogany bureau has been given a bubbly personality and lots of love using home mixed soft pink chalk paint, Artisan Company gold paint system and metallic gold leaf, all waxed to a soft sheen with Artisan Company clear wax
This is a flexible piece of storage with drawers that slide well.
Measures: 76cm wide, 37cm deep closed, 74cm open, 107cm tall.
Wendy Edmondson has been redesigning furniture for herself and friends for many years and professionally for the past three. She works from a garage studio in Wai o Taiki Bay, finding her own quality vintage pieces to remodel and taking on commissions. Work is completed as sustainably as can be, with low VOC paints and waxes wherever possible and deliveries made in an electric van. If you meet Wendy she usually has paint on her clothes or in her hair!
