This classic, solid wood hall table has been given a subtle metallic makeover using a base of Potters Clay with Luna Lustre.
This is a wonderful way to bring a touch of metallic into your home, without using a solid gold or silver finish.
Technique:
Painted in Potters Clay chalk paint using the round synthetic brush. We painted with subtle texture and did two coats for full coverage. We lightly sanded the top for a smooth finish.
Using the Spalter brush, we brushed the Luna Lustre glaze on in one direction. We did one coat for a lovely pearlescent shimmer.
We used gold gilding wax around the edges of the drawer and on the handles.
