Commission - Harlequin Side Table - Not For Sale

For this commission project, we updated the side table using a harlequin pattern in white and black. We then updated the legs and finished with lacquer for a durable finish. A fun look for a beach house!

Technique:

We painted the table top in Beluga to give a base for our pattern.

We then taped off our harlequin triangles and painted them in Carbon Black.

Once finished we painted the legs in Carbon Black to match and then sealed everything with Satin lacquer.

Tip: to keep the true black of the legs, we tinted our lacquer with Carbon Black chalk paint. However we didn't do this for the top as we didn't want to dirty the Beluga white.
