Commission - Dor Greige Bedsides - Not For Sale

This recent commission was for a pair of bedsides that had seen better days and were needing an update to go into a newly refurbished bedroom.

We love how the soft Dark Wax has brought out the warmth and pink in the Dor Greige chalk paint colour!

Technique:

All holes filled in with Fussy Filla.

Painted using a round brush in Dor Greige chalk paint. We two coats with some subtle texture. We the gave a very light sand using 240 grit sandpaper.

To seal we applied a mix of 3 parts Clear Wax to 1 part Dark Wax to give a very soft dark wax finish. We brushed this on using our wax brush and wiped the excess off with a lint-free rag.
