This custom commission has been given a simple but effective makeover using Carbon Black chalk paint.

Carbon Black is a warm black that suits both contemporary and older styles and pairs beautifully with other colours. A simple black finish is always a winner.

Technique:

We painted two coats of Carbon Black chalk paint onto the desk using our Staalmeester 2-inch flat brush and detail brush.

Once fully dry we then painted two coats of Satin lacquer to give a strong finish.

What We Used:

This was originally painted in Vintro paints but we have updated the colours below for The Artisan Company premium paint range.
