For this commission set, we have updated a classic chair and desk into a lovely aged finish using Wild Tusk and touches of Dark wax.

This is such a beautiful and classic finish which keeps the character while lightning the furniture to better fit into modern living.

Technique:

Painted all over in Wild Tusk chalk paint using our round brush to create minimal texture. We lightly sanded back the final coat for a wonderfully soft finish.

We then sealed with a one to one mix of Clear and Dark waxes, brushing on with our natural bristle wax brush and wiping back with a lint free rag. By mixing the waxes we had a much lighter dark wax look which is what we wanted for this piece.
