Take your decoupage skills to the next level and learn how to apply your decoupage to a piece of furniture. In this masterclass we will teach you how to use napkins and premium chalk paint to create your own bespoke occasional table, using Dooney & Daughters developed decoupage techniques.
In this masterclass, you will learn:
- How to use napkins to create your own designs.
- How to blend your napkins into a full furniture finish using The Artisan Company premium chalk paints.
- How to seal your decoupaged furniture for high traffic areas (eg a table top).
- How to create age and patina.
- How to finish your furniture piece.
This class is small and detailed for maximum tuition and questions. Designed to extend your knowledge and inspire you to begin to explore different ways to use your decoupage skills on furniture. This masterclass is designed for people who have already done our Decoupage Workshop, or are confident in the art of decoupage.
All materials and tools, including the table, napkins, premium chalk paint, lacquer and finishing products will be provided within the workshop, so you only need to bring yourself and an open mind. A small morning tea will also be provided.
Masterclass criteria: as our masterclasses are fast-paced, we require you to have an understanding of the art of applying decoupage and decoupage basics, ideally from having attended our Decoupage workshop.

We will send a confirmation email closer to the time to remind you that you have a workshop booked with us. Alternatively, you can book in person in our store at 122 Upland Road in Auckland.
Decoupage Next Steps workshops are run in groups of up to 4 for the optimum learning experience, book early to avoid disappointment. All workshops start at 10am and run for approximately 3 hours.
