This china cabinet came to us with missing glass panels and broken mirrors, but after being inspired by one of our customers to replace the missing glass with brass panel inserts, we were able to transform this broken china cabinet into something modern and contemporary.
Technique:
We removed the broken mirror panels and then painted the dresser in Starling chalk paint, our deepest, darkest green, using our round Staalmeester brush creating very subtle texture.
We then replaced the missing glass panels on each side with brass panel inserts.
We sealed all over with Clear Wax and then added gold gilding wax over the edges and handles to create a modern finish.
